A classic renderer computes the image from your geometry. Every material, every light source and every detail of the model has to be set up beforehand, and the result matches exactly what you built. You pay for it with scene setup time and compute time.
AI works the other way round: it reads the massing, perspective and proportions from the view you upload and fills in the finish from your description. We support JPG, PNG, and TIF formats. For best results, we recommend uploading high-contrast viewport captures from your 3D software. Maximum file size is 10MB.
What 3D software is compatible?
RAYA works with any 3D software that can export images - SketchUp, Revit, Rhino, ArchiCAD, 3ds Max, Blender, and many more. Just export a viewport or render and upload it.
How does the credit system work?
A 2K render costs 2 credits, a 4K render costs 4 credits, and video generation starts at 5 credits. New users get 20 free credits to start, and you top up more credits with a subscription (20, 50, 110, or 220 credits/month).
Can I use the images for commercial projects?
Yes! You own full commercial rights to all images generated on our platform, regardless of your subscription tier.
Are my projects used to train AI models?
No. The images you upload, your prompts, and the generated renders are not used to train AI models - neither ours nor our providers'. We use paid, production-tier plans whose terms of service explicitly exclude using customer data for training. Your projects remain exclusively yours.
Do I need a 3D model to create a visualization?
No. A photo of the room, a hand sketch or a viewport capture from any 3D program is enough. A model helps when you need a specific perspective, but it is not required.
What resolution do the visualizations come in?
You generate in 2K or 4K. A finished image can be enlarged further with the upscale tool to 4K or 6K if you need material for print.
Will Raya replace V-Ray or Corona for me?
For concepts, layout variants and sales material it usually will, because what counts there is how the interior looks and how fast you get it. For projects where the image has to match a specific catalogue product down to the detail, the render engine stays - Raya reads the massing and perspective from your view and fills in the finish from your description.
Do I need to know how to use rendering software?
No. You set no materials, lights or cameras. You upload a view from your model, a photo or a sketch, pick a style and lighting from a ready list and generate. Advanced settings are there for more control, but you do not have to use them.
